The news of the rift between Nigerian celebrity singer, Onyeka Onwenu and Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor went viral some weeks ago and many expressed shock, wondering what would have caused it.
The rift was alleged to have come about from the sharing formula of the largess given to Nollywood by the wife of the president Goodluck Jonathan as her husband intensified his failed second term bid at the presidential elections.
But the actress fondly called, Mama G, has debunked the rumour of any disagreement between them and expressed her shock at such insinuations. She said they are in good terms as they were together at the launch of the Igbo channel on cable television.
According to BON, she disclosed, "I really do not know why people write what they cannot investigate. Onyeka Onwenu and I do not have any issues.
