VIDEO: Ziggi Golding at 53rd Independence Anniversary of Nigeria at LBWF

"We have had a great response to the work and the artist's intent on producing this work which is of historical and contemporary importance.100 years ago in 1914, an agreement was signed by the Nigerian Kings to amalgamate their
kingdoms into one country named Nigeria. This agreement was a 100 year one, which is up next year. It is important that the world knows these Kingdoms still exist with their rulers intact. This exhibition is to celebrate the fact that they still have an important place within Nigeria, and are the custodians of peace between their people and the
government, and they keep their individual cultural heritage alive, some of the Kingdoms going back
well before Christ".With this lofty quotation, Ziggi opened the floor of
her presentation at the council chambers on 8th November 2013.
Ziggi is currently promoting the works of one of Nigeria's celebrated photo-artist, George Osodi, who is travelling all over Nigeria, compiling a photographic dossier on the Nigeria Monarchs,a project that is a novelty in its own field. Z-PHOTOGRAPHIC was established by Ziggi Golding in 1983. They have been developing the career of top talent within the fine art, fashion, film and music industries. Through a prolific exhibition program and an international network of collectors
and curators, the agency devotes itself to raising public awareness of photographic art through the media as well as art for its own sake.
